13 Woodworking Projects You Can Make Yourself
Hello and welcome back! Yesterday we finished up our 13 days of woodworking challenge over on Instagram, and it was such a fun project! We had so many wonderful projects, that I wanted to come back and share a roundup for you today. Remember you still have until the end of the day today (Dec. 14th) to enter to win the prize pack from RYOBI and Paint Wiz! Now, check out all these amazing projects that you can make yourself!
I have to thank my friend Adam over at Lazy Guy DIY for inviting me to participate in this little woodworking giveaway. I had such a good time and was blown away by the talent in this group. Here is a rundown, day by day, of the projects and links to all the tutorials.
Day 1 – My Love 2 Create
My friend Mindi from over at My Love 2 Create made these awesome prints and get this – they are reversable! So you can change them to the snowflakes for the holidays, but the rest of the year you still have artwork. Go visit Mindi for the full tutorial HERE!
Day 2 – The Handyman’s Daughter
Vineta brought us another cool wall hanging – this beautiful “Let it Snow” sign with beautiful snowflakes. I love it! Go check out her tutorial HERE.
Day 3 – Craftsman Drive
Mr. LMB, as he is known, gave us the full details on these porch planters that could also double up – Christmas trees during the holidays and something else the rest of the year. Check out his full tutorial HERE.
Day 4 – Handmade with Ashley
Ashley brought the most amazing little present. This BB8 push toy is so stinking cute I can’t stand it. I mean, come on!!! Isn’t that adorable??? Check out the full tutorial HERE.
Day 5 – Hazel + Gold Designs
Day 5 brought this beautiful little tray from Sheri at Hazel + Gold Designs . It’s not only cute, but so functional as well. I can just imagine using it as a hot cocoa serving station while snuggling up with the kiddos and watching ELF :). Get the tutorial HERE.
Day 6 – The Painted Key
Christina from The Painted Key blew me away on day 6 with this amazing little table. It has a surprise you will love – go check out the tutorial HERE. Amazing!
Day 7 – The Created Home
This wooden star mosaic from Sarah is just so gorgeous. I love the details and all the different colors of wood. I might just have to make this next for next year. Get the full tutorial HERE.
Day 8 – Her Toolbelt
Amy from Her Toolbelt made this adorable little reindeer on day 8. It reminds me of one my in-laws had for years that we broke :(. Now I can make them a new one with full projects plans from Amy HERE.
Day 9 – Lazy Guy DIY
Day 9 was Adam’s day and this coffee table did not disappoint. I love love love the finish on the top and those hairpin legs are swoon worthy! Go get all the details and the full tutorial HERE.
Day 10 – Uncookie Cutter
Day 10 was my turn and I was so excited to make this bright and colorful toy box for my bright and colorful nieces. I can’t wait to see them to see this box and so hope they can use it for years to come. Get all the details on how I did it HERE.
Day 11 – Knock it Off Kim
Day 11 was from my friend Kim over at Knock if Off Kim. Aren’t these little candlesticks adorable? I love the sleek, modern look and they would make the most perfect handmade gift. Get the full tutorial HERE.
Day 12 – The Jawn Shop
I am not usually a fan of traditional wreaths, but this wood slice wreath is so beautiful. This one would transition nicely into winter, until you needed a spring wreath. I might make this after the holiday to replace my reindeer door hanger. Get the full tutorial HERE.
Day 13 – Keddie Woodshop
Our last and final project was brought to us by Matt and I think these would be great as a fun little candy cane lane decor in our courtyard. Get the full tutorial HERE.
So that’s it, 13 amazing woodworking projects with full tutorials so you can make them all yourself! Which one is your favorite? I think I might just make them all :).

Pin for later!
These look like some good projects that anyone can tackle! I’ll have to give these a shot when I get some time.
Thanks Brian!
These are wonderful creations! Perfect for this year’s upcoming holidays. The Christmas tree little tray and the toy box really caught my eye. I like how simple they are yet very functional.
Thanks Mari!
That push toy is amazing Ashley! will try to replicate that over the weekend!
So many amazing creations, great to see how people use their imagination and get crafty. I always say – if you make it with your own hands, it will mean so much more and you will take care of it so much better. And it’s a great way to save money on Christmas gifts and make something from your heart.
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
