Vase Upcycle – April 10-Minute DIY
Hello all! We are back again with another awesome round of 10-minute DIYs. This month’s theme is spring and I have to say, I just love this little challenge. It’s really hard for me to think of DIYs that take only 10 minutes, but that is what I like about it. This month I did a quick and easy little glass vase upcycle. It was spur of the moment, but know I love it.
At the beginning of the month, our sweet neighbors moved out to move to the country. We were so sad to see them go, they were great neighbors. While they were packing up, they had a bunch of old house supplies they asked if I wanted. Of course, I took them all, including this steel stucco netting, knowing I could do something with it.

I think stuff like this is so pretty. Is that weird? Stucco netting can be found for pretty cheap at most hardware stores in the lumber & building section. I took my wire snips and cut off a little piece.
I found an old vase that needed a little pick-me-up.
I wrapped it around my glass vase and secured it with two zip ties. Then I just slipped it off the bottom.
I cut the extra mesh off and the zip ties down and then I gave it a quick paint job with Rustoleum spray paint in Pearl Metallic Champagne Pink Mist.
And that’s it! Ten minutes and I had a new and pretty little spring vase.
I could make a whole bunch from just one sheet, and I could see this in a number of different colors.
Easy Peasy! Go check out what my friends did for their 10-minute DIYs this month.
