Christmas Holiday Home Tour 2015 : Home for Christmas
Hi and welcome to my Christmas Holiday Home Tour 2015!
I am so excited for Christmas in our new home. Â It was so fun to be able to decorate our all new space this year. Â I’m also thrilled to be participating in this linkup, sponsored by Hometalk.com and Country Living.com. Â A thanks to our lovely host Donna of Funky Junk Interiors, her Santa’s Picnic by the Fire post is just so freaking awesome. Â Make sure to look around and visit all my blogger friends lovely homes through the links below.
Okay, here goes :). Â Here is my Christmas Holiday Home Tour 2015.
We’ll start in the dining room.  The first time I ever did a tablescape was this year  for Thanksgiving, but it looked so nice I did it up for Christmas as well :).
All the details on the table setting can be found HERE. Â The only thing I added was tall vases, which I spray painted and I reused the Thanksgiving branches spray painted with glitter.
You can also check out my DIY dining chairs, concrete table and rustic shelf!
And in the corner is my Wine Barrel Christmas Tree :).
And I had to pull out our favorite mugs, our Clark Griswolds eggnog mugs curtosey of my sis. Â
The dining room opens to the living room.
I have a “pretty” tree this year, which I’ve always kind of wanted.
My DIY faux industrial shelves are all Holiday’d up too :).
We don’t use this fire place, so we have a “fake” fire, but don’t worry – we have another working fireplace in the den.
Love those TJMaxx stockings!
I put the wreaths over the birch tree paintings, which our elf, Sam likes to hang out in sometimes.
This room flows into our gaming area, where my lit up winter wonderland wall is.
This is one of my favorite projects ever.  Get all tree tutorial HERE and the snowflake tutorial HERE.
Also in this room, I partnered with Cutting Edge Stencils to create my hanging ornament boards, which I’ll have the tutorials up on this week :).
A little round of pool…
And if you think we don’t have our kid decorated tree as well, you are wrong!
It’s not the fullest tree we’ve ever gotten, but we picked it out in the freezing rain and we still love her :). Â The kids did the ornaments themselves and this tree is in the den right outside their bedrooms, also next to the fireplace that actually works.
And last but not least is our beautiful advent tree, also curtesy of my sis :). It’s getting a little worn, but I don’t know that I’ll ever part with it. Â I might have to redo it one day though!
I have one more holiday project coming up plus our December create and share holiday challenge with my tutorial of the hanging ornament boards!  Make sure to stick around.
Now it’s time to stroll through and check out all these beautiful homes and projects. Â These are some of the most talented bloggers I’ve ever seen! Â You can check them all out below, or use social media to search the hashtag #HomeForChristmas.
Thanks for stopping by!
