Courtyard Makeover – One Room Challenge Spring 2017 – Week 2
Hello and welcome back! In case you haven’t been following along, I am participating in the One Room Challenge by Calling it Home and this time around, I am doing a courtyard makeover. We are so excited to be getting this space done, it has been a very uninviting entryway to our house. But, that’s about to change! See all the ugly before pics and my plan for this space here.
Just a quick reminder of where we started.
So, this week we actually got quite a bit done, and even though it is still looking awful it does look a lot better. We got the stone wall built, which was easier than I thought it would be, but still a ton of work.
I have an electrician coming to install the post lights and I found some dirt to fill in the are behind the wall. I also got the first few coats of patio paint on the slab that will be under the table.
We moved a lot of bushes to line the spaces around where the table will be. Where we cleared everything out, we planted grass seed in hopes that we would have some green grass pop up in the next couple of weeks.
Project List
Move and clean out bushes
Paint the Concrete
Paint a Faux Rug
Build a Table
Build a stone wall
Install new lights
Install new curtains
Plant New Plants
Move Dirt In
Get Rocks
I couldn’t do this makeover without the help of my generous sponsors, so head over and give them some love.
