Weekly Customizable Cleaning Schedule Printable and Video Tutorial
Hi and welcome back!
It’s January and the start of the new year. Since moving in our new house last January, I have struggled to keep on top of the house cleaning. It went from “get everything unpacked mode” to starting the blog, kids stuff, summer, etc. I’ve had a blast with the blog, but I’m still working on the “balancing it all” thing. I am one of those type of people that loves to cross stuff off a list. So, whenever I need to get something done I make a list and then I am much better at getting it done. In the past, I’ve always kept on top of the house cleaning better when I have a set schedule. I know, it’s so boring and gross. But, it saves me from the frantic housecleaning and massive day long cleaning sessions. Now I can spend about half an hour a day and my house stays clean, which means I work better and function better as a mom. So, I made this customizable cleaning schedule and decided to share it with you along with a free printable.
First save this PDF to your computer and then convert it to a JPEG. Get the PDF HERE.
Then watch the video on how to quickly and easily customize it in PicMonkey. You can, of course, always just write on it too. But, it case you want to get all fancy like me, this is for you.

You can also take the super easy way, and download mine, which is already filled out for you HERE.
I also took a video of how I did the whole thing. This is my first attempt at making a printable, but in case you are interested in making your very own customizable cleaning schedule, watch how I did it here.

So, what do you do to stay on schedule? I know I’m not the only crazy person with a ridiculous schedule out there. I wanna know what you do to keep on top of things.
I hope the new year brings you lots of happiness and tons of fun new projects. Here’s to 2016!
Thanks for following along!

Great idea! I can print this and then give it to the kids, right?
haha, now that’s a GREAT idea! Thanks Roxanne!
I REALLY like this layout. I think it seems totally doable with my busy schedule. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Lindsey! So hard to keep on top to it!
i agree with Lindsey, I like the layout and simplicity of this printable! It makes everything look simple and easy to do. Stopping by to let you know you are being featured on Friday’s P3 Party post! Have a great week! Thanks for pinning!
Best,
Kim
AH!! Thank you so much Kim! It always makes my day to be featured at Made in a Day! Have a great week!
Cleaning is most important because disease are spread due to dust. Child are sensitive and they do not know about the cleaning. Thanks for sharing.
I am having trouble using the template on picmokey it says the PDF file isn’t supported on the picmonkey website
Oh no, let me look at it! Thanks for letting me know.
It’s a very nice cleaning schedule and a good video, but I have the same trouble as Yessena did. Picmonkey doesn’t want a PDF. What can I do? Thanks
I don’t know if this is the best way, but I found a web site pdf2jpg.net that offers free conversion of a PDF file to a JPG file, and I am trying it out now…
Thank you Sarah, so sorry about the problem. I changed it on here to a jpg, so hopefully that helps!
Hi Yessena, so sorry it took me so long, but I changed the pdf to a jpg. Will you let me know if that works? Sorry for the problems.
I saved the image but I am having issues with resolution. I’m saving the image from up top, editing it, then saving it to my computer as shown, but when I go to print the image does not print on the full page. I’m not sure if its because of the size of the image up top. Is there a way to save the image from another link with out having to right click on the image to save it. I believe it is scaling it down doing it that way. and the resolution when editing it is poor when you zoom in unlike on your tutorial.
I’m having the same issue as Tia. My computer saved the above image as a screen shot and the quality is very low/poor. Do you have another link, or perhaps the original pdf? I can always convert later. Also, the image above has a small text box on it that must have been there when the screen shot was taken.
I really love this layout and can’t wait to try it as I attempt to get our family back in a good routine!
Thank you in advance!

Darn! I’m so sorry. It seems whenever I do an update it messes up my PDFs. Which one are you trying to download, the clear one or the one that is filled out already?
It’s okay. I’d really love the blank one as a pdf. I already downloaded the filled one. I would use it, but I need to swap a couple of things to different days.
Thank you so much!

Hi Myraih, again I apologize! Try again now, I put a link to the blank PDF right above the image (it says “get the PDF HERE”). Once you download the PDF, you should be able to convert it to a JPEG and then Upload it to PicMonkey. Please let me know if you have any further issues or if this doesn’t work. Again, so sorry!
Thank you April!!
Thank you Myriah! Sorry for the problems!
