Den Remodel – Shop the Kids Rec Room!
Hopefully you took a look at my den remodel last week and I’ve already had a bunch of questions about where I got this and that. I made and DIYed a lot of the stuff in this room, but you can’t DIY everything ;). So, here is all the info on everything else ;).
Main Area
Nothing pulls a room together like art work. Minted not only has an amazing large selection of unique prints and artwork, they also give you all the details on the artist. Getting a little backstory makes me feel like I’m part of the piece somehow. I wanted something a bit quirky, abstract and colorful. I sorted through the website saving a bunch of things I liked. I had all the furniture, rugs…all the basics in den remodel…and I sat and looked at what made me happy while being in the space. Then I forward my five favorites to Kim and she helped me narrow it down to the Geo Point print.

I couldn’t decide if I should go one big one or a few little ones, but when I saw the Tumbleweed print, I loved it. I feel like it brings a bit of Oklahoma into this spunky space.

It looks amazing! May I know how large is the floor area? We live in a studio type and I’m planning on renovating the house, and I think I will just make that room an inspiration! 🙂
Thanks Karen! It’s about 300 square feet, give or take.
What product did you use to paint the concrete?
I have two posts on concrete floors, hope this helps. https://www.uncookiecutter.com/polished-concrete-floor/ and the easier version is https://www.uncookiecutter.com/polished-concrete-floors/
