Hall Bath Makeover – One Room Challenge Week 1

Hi all!  It’s time for another One Room Challenge from Calling it Home!  You may remember I started the challenge in the spring when I redid my husband’s office but didn’t finish until late summer. This time around I am much better prepared and ready to go.  We are tackling our hall bath makeover which in need of a desperate makeover.

FINAL REVEAL!!!

This is the bathroom our guests use whenever we have a party, but also the bathroom our overnight guests use.  At some point, we would like to add another bathroom for our overnight guests, but for now this is what we’ve got. Hall Bath Makeover - One Room Challenge - Fall 2016 - UncookieCutter.com

So pretty, right?  Now that I am writing this post, I am actually wishing I had more “before” photos.  Oh well!  I’m going to build my own vanity and change the lights around.

I’m going to build my own vanity and change the lights around. Actually, we are doing a complete gut of the space.  I will be doing a lot more tiling in this tiny room.  You know I love tile floors!  We did go ahead and start, and demo is done, so no turning back now!  Here is a peak of what we have so far.

I want to go with black walls as of right now, but sometimes I wait until the last minute to see how the room is taking shape to decide what color I want to use. Maybe a really dark blue.  I received some AWESOME lights from LampsPlus that I am so pumped about.  I actually saw a larger version in a spa recently and loved them so much I couldn’t believe when I found a mini pendant version online.  But, that’s for another post.

Speaking of sponsors, I’m so excited to be working with some great companies for this little bath makeover.  The quality of these brands is really top notch, so stop by and give them some love from me!

Those are the basic plans for our hall bath makeover and I’m excited to have this space be a little more up to date! Be sure to follow me on Instagram to get behind-the-scenes shots and daily updates!

Thanks so much for following along!
