Home Depot Workshop – Rustic Wheelbarrow

Hello again!  I was recently invited by Jenn of Build Basic to participate in a Home Depot Workshop Virtual Party.  Let me explain…as many of you may know, Home Depot offers wonderful classes designed to teach you how to do it yourself, or DIY.  I can’t tell you how many people ask me to make them replicas of my projects, and while it’s all very flattering, I think it would be awesome if more people had the courage to pick up a power tool and start playing around.  That’s where these workshops come in handy.  They have professionals leading step by step tutorials on how to create your very own projects, like this fun rustic wheelbarrow.  And you get to play with power tools, which is the most fun part ever!

So, what’s a virtual party you ask?  Okay, maybe you didn’t ask, but I’m going to tell you anyway!  A group of us bloggers are coming together to build the project featured in the next workshop, but putting our own little spin on it.  This month they will be teaching women in a DIH, or do it HERSELF workshop.  I’m just all heart eyes over here at the thought of a bunch of women getting together with a bunch of power tools. Anyway, this month they will be teaching you how to make this cool little rustic wheelbarrow.

Make sure to stop back here next Monday to see what we all came up with, including my own little spin on the rustic wheelbarrow.  I can’t wait to see what my blogging buddies come up with and I’d love to see your project too!  You can register to build your own rustic wheelbarrow, then use the hashtag #DIHworkshop so we can all find your version of the rustic wheelbarrow.

*I am partnering with The Home Depot for the purposes of promoting their DIH workshops. I received
compensation for this posts and all associated posts. I really do think this is a great way for people to start using power tools and learn fun stuff.  All opinions in this and all my posts are completely
my own.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check out your local workshops HERE!

  5. That’s pretty cool. I’m curious, are the workshops only for adults or do they allow kids in? Or perhaps they have separate classes for them?

    Thanks.
