Cricut Explorer Air 2 – My New Toy!
Hello! I got a few things for Christmas I love, but I have to admit that my new favorite toy is my Cricut Explorer Air 2 – I can’t wait to start crafting with this thing. I’ve already made a couple of projects that I love. I’ve also joined about a million Cricut groups on Facebook and I’m currently exploding with ideas.

In case you don’t know what in the world a Cricut is, here’s the deal. Ever wonder how people make things from personalized signs to t-shirts to ornaments with those beautiful fonts and fun designs? Well, chances are they have a Cricut. It’s a machine that can cut, draw or score and design anything you can dream up. Anything you want to personalize – it’s so fun!

I actually received my stuff from Cricut back before Christmas, but I had to take some time off – we had family visit and then did some traveling. I knew I had something to look forward too and last week I got home and start unboxing and setting up all my fun stuff. First things first, I took it all out to take a look at it. I got the Explorer Air 2 and the new Easy Press and a bunch of fun stuff to start playing with.

So fun. I love how easy it is to get started. They are very encouraging :). First things first, I wanted to get started with the Explorer.

I made my very first project using their step by step tutorial and it’s so stinking cute, it makes me want to start making all our cards.

I love that you can draw and cut…in the same command. Just design it and send it. I love watching it write. I’ve always wished I could write beautifully, now I don’t have to wish!

So, I told you I made a project. I actually already made another project in addition to the card, but I’m holding that a secret for another week. It’s a good one! I’ll also have more info on that Easy Press thing :).
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and I’ll be back soon with more exciting projects!
