Mid-Century Modern Accessories for Under $50
Howdy! This week I am super excited because I am ripping out our hall bath. I was talking to one of my BFFs today and we were discussing how it can be hard to find your style. Whatever I do decide, there is a good chance it will be out of style a year later, haha. I’m already rethinking some of the choices I made in our living room. I love it, but it’s a rustic-industrial style and right now I’m digging this Mid-Century modern style that is popping up everywhere. So, in our hall bath, I’m going to go more that direction. Which got me thinking about mid-century Modern accessories and I started scouring the internet to see what I could come up with. If something is too expensive, I like to make a knock off. But, sometimes I don’t’ have time to make every single object in a room! And since I have such a hard time finding stuff, I thought I’d share it with you guys.

TJMaxx
One of my favorite spots to shop is TJMaxx. They always have unique, fun items and great prices. While I was searching around, I found this cute little vase that I ordered for the bathroom.

The thing about TJMaxx is that their stuff sells out quickly. But, they do have a whole “mid-century modern” section right now. Here are some more mid-century modern accessories from TJMaxx that I love.
Dot & Bo
I had never really heard of Dot & Bo until I started blogging and saw some of my friends cool stuff from there. It is actually a great site, even though you do have to sign up for emails to shop. I’m going to have to find a place for this concrete clock.

Home Decorators Collection
Home Decorators Collection is another site you have to give your email to shop, but I did find this awesome wall mirror that would be perfect if you have tight wall space by the door.

A few more fun items from Home Decorators Collection
Pier 1
Pier 1 is another great place I recently started looking online and they actually have some great options as well. I can just see these fur pillows in Don Draper’s office.

Minted
You could update an old lamp with a little paint and one of these fun watercolor lamp shades from Minted. They have a ton of colors to choose from, but this is my fav.

And some more funky stuff from Minted…

CostPlus World Market
CostPlus World Market is also a great place to search for accessories, especially inexpensive lamps like this fun little guy for $30!
Micheals and Hobby Lobby
You can’t have mid-century modern accessories without a peacock feather, right? Micheals and Hobby Lobby have great faux flowers and feathers, like this fun peacock feather.
So, where do you shop for accessories when you don’t DIY them? Hope you find this helpful. I’ll be back soon with more on that bathroom remodel!
Thanks for stopping by!
