Rustic Christmas Front Porch
Hello everyone and welcome back! I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving yesterday. We did and we are already in full blown Christmas mode. Last year was our first Christmas in our new house and we love it here. It’s so fun and feels like home. Last year I didn’t really do anything on the front porch, I think I may have hung a wreath but that’s it. This year I did a quick and easy little rustic Christmas decor out there and it’s so much more inviting.
You might remember from my Halloween front porch post what we were dealing with before.
That is seriously how we greeted guests for over a year. To let you in on a little secret, we are planning on doing this whole courtyard area for the spring One Room Challenge. We are so excited. It’s one of those spaces that we weren’t sure what to do with, so we haven’t done anything. But we are forming a plan and getting ready to get it done.
For now, I decided to go with a little more traditional look for the front. The house has cedar siding and it’s hard to make that look fresh and funky. But that’s totally okay because I found a few items that I totally love and fell in love with.
I’ll have details on my fun new door hanging next week. Is that what it’s called? Not a wreath, but not sure what to call that thing. It was an easy little DIY.
I love love love the ornaments I found.
They go perfectly with the fun new little Believe sign that I saw and just loved.
And how cute is my little reindeer friend?

That turned out so cute! We have outdoor lights, but now I really want to start decorating the porch!
Thanks Carlee! I have totally neglected my porch until this Halloween.
