Hi and welcome to our blogging version of Secret Santa!
I’m taking a little break from blogging for the holidays. The kids are home, we’ve had family visiting, stomach bugs and end-of-school craziness, so it been tough to keep up. But, this is a fun little Secret Santa game I wanted to play with my blogging buddies. We were to get our buddy a new item for under $25 that somehow incorporated their style based on their blog. In addition, we were to get them a $5 thrift store item that they can upcycle into a great home DIY project. Thanks so much to Sara from Shabby Grace Blog for organizing! So, here we go!

I was super excited to get a gift from Stephanie of Casa Watkins. She really is the most thoughtful and generous blogging friend. I have never met her, but hopefully someday soon! If you recognize her name, it’s because she is the coordinator of our Create and Share monthly linkups.
Stephanie sent me this new light which I love! I am going to start working on a new area right when I get back from break, that I think this will go perfect in.
She nailed my industrial vibe and I love that these Edison bulbs are so in style right now. I can’t believe these were under $25! I might have to grab a few more I love them so much.
You have to visit Stephanie and see what all she has done in her home. She has a bright, colorful eclectic style that is just gorgeous and unique. I always look forward to her beautiful tablescapes and her craft projects. Check out her project gallery here.
I love what she did with these vases and how she transformed these beautiful dollar store pumpkins.
And one of the first things I ever saw Stephanie do, which is still one of my favorite projects, was when she up cycled this old cassette tape holder!
I got the pleasure of drawing Amy from My Life From Home, which I was so excited about because I love her blog. Go give her a look to see what I picked out for her and stick around and visit her for a bit.
So, that’s it for now! Come back in January to see the second half of our Secret Santa gift, our thrift store items and what we do with them. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday break, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, or whatever else you are doing this beautiful December. I’ll be back soon with more building projects, I can’t wait to get back in the workshop. After family time :).
