Non-DIY Halloween Decor 2016
Hi friends and welcome back! I had all these great ideas for super fun Halloween projects this year. Then the bathroom remodel started and all of a sudden it was the middle of October and I realized if I didn’t get my Halloween decor up, it wasn’t going to get up. I love Halloween, so when I realized how late it was I knew I needed to get moving. So this year, no DIY Halloween projects, but I threw some stuff up, so the kiddos (and me) are happy and feeling like we are in the spirit finally.

Last month, on my birthday I was so excited to go to the big city to go to Target and The Home Depot. I know it sounds silly, but I miss those places. And, to my great excitement, when I walked in Target they had Halloween decor up. Yippee!! I hadn’t even thought of that! So exciting. I basically just bought all their Halloween Decor.
My two favorite tricks to making my house look spooky are faux black flowers and spider webs. I add them to everything. The spider webs are super cheap and easy and go on everything. Score.
I love the little dimensional wall bats I found, they are so cute!
We got this old cat skeleton a couple years back and for whatever reason, my kiddos think it is the best piece of Halloween decor ever.
See, once again – spider webs and black flowers. They change everything. Here is my daughter, for dramatic effect…
In case you are wondering, she is not really scared. Their other favorite thing is this toy phone I found at Target that says spooky things when you pick it up.
A big hit! And now the boy…
It’s like they are in a horror flick – very dramatic.
Well, that’s about it. My non-DIY Halloween decor. I do have some ideas for some fun projects, but maybe that’ll happen next year! When I’m not knee-deep in bathroom reno. Then again, I’m sure I’ll be on some other project by then!
Thanks for stopping by!
